The Wilson family identified a significant gap in the tourism accommodation market to provide 4 star plus accommodation for large groups. New Hall Farm is a small family farm located in the Wolsingham area of Weardale. It started to diversify into self catering from their normal farming business around five years ago. The main farm house is large and the project is to convert this in to four star standard self catering accommodation for up to 15 people, with the potential to sleep another 6 at a later stage.

The business has taken on board the comments from Visit County Durham, so the business will offer flexible accommodation which will predominantly be self-catering, however it will have the option of offering additional services to guests as required.
